SOS! They Need You!

Today I want to share something with you that I am passionate about. This is Roger my little affenpinscher. A few years ago a friends dog went missing in Mexico. We searched for the dog for a month and by utilizing my social media we were able to find him. During the time of us searching for my friends dog I saw the depths of the strays in Mexico. Dogs literally being ran over on the street. Shelters with little money caring for animals that had gunshot wounds and who were heavily abused.

Upon my return I found an Instagram page called DogMeetsFamily. I had promised myself I would be rescuing another dog. I wanted to somehow honor all the stray animals in the world by saving one. One of my passions is using my social media to help animals in need. A lot of the work I do on the down low because some people just can’t stand to look at the truth of how horrible the situation is for animals both inside and outside of our country. I’ve had people come down on me for sharing videos of what occurs in factory farms and to stray animals on the street.

This is not limited to the animal suffering of just dogs and cats. Factory farm animals are by far treated the worst. Below, I have listed three of my favorite animal rescue organizations along with a picture of sweet Roger. I know Rodger is one of my spirit animals. This is him getting his chest rubbed this morning. It bewilders me to think a couple dropped him off to be Euthanized because he had a massive growth on his neck. Whenever I see someone purchasing from a breeder I have to stop and ask them why? There are so many animals that need homes.

Would you do this to a child who needed a home? Would you do this to an elderly person who was ill? Would you want someone to disregard you because you had a tumor hanging from your neck? Far too often in life we are looking and waiting for someone to mess up. Instead of focusing on the change we can make. It is your choice whether you donate to one of the three places below. They are in my opinion extremely reputable. Feel free to research them online.

Barn Sanctuary  A sweet loving soul who rescues animals from factory farms. A fellow vegan.

Animal Hope and Wellness  A wonderful man who rescues dogs from the Yulin dog festival. They also do a lot of work in the US.

DogMeetsFamily  This is where I found sweet Rodger. I don’t even think this sweet woman has a website. She uses her spare time to take videos of the dogs in the LA animal shelters. The LA animal shelters are VERY high kill. This woman is selfless! You can message her to see how she takes donations. I’m not certain of her name.

Giving Back ~ Are you listening?

ac_linkedin_1-3-1

I love you, are you listening?

Everyone who knows me knows I love animals more than people {truth}! Tonight I’m asking all of you for a special favor…please pray for all the animals who have no food, no shelter and no humans to love them. Please pray for the abused animals in factory farms, the animals who live out their entire lives just to produce milk and have their babies ripped away at birth. Please pray for the millions of dogs breed-ed in puppy mills who are mistreated and often end up in terrible situations. Please pray for the animals who are created by forced pregnancy for the sole purpose of consumption by unconscious humans! Please pray for the injured animals who are hanging on for dear life. Pray that they each have healing sleep and wake restored in the morning! Thank you ~ I love you!

Giving Back!

My mom feeds the homeless on Tuesdays. It’s her way of giving back. I try to give back to all of you by teaching y’all how to live healthier lives without sacrificing our beloved animal friends.

How are you giving back today? How are you loving yourself? How are you serving others?

Let us all become the light we wish to see in this world!

Take a look at this video below and rethink giving back! To yourself and to others!

I Almost Died on Saturday! :(

Accidents happen!

car

My beautiful car is not so beautiful any longer.

It had been 20 years since I had an accident. Twenty long years since feeling scared out of my mind! Saturday evening, I was on my way to dog beach with my rescue dog Rodger when traffic stopped suddenly on the highway. I stopped however not in time. Five minutes later I found myself petrified, on the side of the road holding Rodger in my arms. My nose was bleeding heavily and both Rodger and I were shaking. The gentleman I hit also had rescue dogs in the car. He was a kind man. His car had little damage. My car however was totaled. We were both SO grateful our dogs were all ok! Life is so short. I watched mine flash before my very eyes. I think the worst part about the situation is that I had no one to turn to in my time of need. That is when we must look up, have faith and know that everything will be ok. My insurance covered the gentleman’s car however not my car. This was a lesson to me to never allow certain aspects of my dealings to be handles by others. It is now my responsibility to face a Mercedes that I paid cash for being a total loss. I am forced to remember that EVERYTHING happens for a reason! EVERYTHING! The beautiful news is that although my airbag FAILED to deploy, I was wearing my seatbelt and had also just picked up a carseat for little Rodger! The officer said it could have been MUCH worse! I agreed with him and as Rodger sat on my lap in a dirty AAA tow truck, I felt full of peace that everything was going to be BETTER than OK!

Whatever you are going through…Someone has it worse!

Today I surrendered into the fact that I cannot “fix” the world! In fact, at times I cannot fix my own problems. I’m going through a lot of heaviness lately and I am proud to say that after struggling with an eating disorder over a decade ago, I am not allowing that heaviness to be placed upon my plate! I’m dealing with things as they come and allowing people who have “shown up” for me in the past to show up again. I’m also opening the doors for new people to lighten the load by being there for me in ways I never knew (or cared to admit) that I need. One thing I learned today is that someone always has it worse than we do! Always! So we may as well face our troubles head on rather than hiding from them. Hiding makes anthills into mountains! Facing situations that we really want to run from creates a sense of inner strength that cannot be found anywhere else. Go face your fear and watch as unexpected hands and the grace of God lift you up to places you thought were impossible!

WOW! I cannot believe the turnout we’ve had for my 7 Day Juicy cleanse! We just passed 50 people who bought the program for just $197! I have two private Facebook groups, one group for the people who purchased coaching or a consult off me prior and another group for the “newbies”

{I love newbies}!

Yesterday I was knee deep in shooting videos and now until Friday I’m going to be wrapping up those videos for the private groups and even tossing in a few bonus’s!

I truly feel this is the absolute BEST way to connect with you personally and guide you through a detox! If you are interested please visit the shop below or click here

A great Cause!

WOW! I connected with these two beautiful ladies last night! My heart feels INCREDIBLY FULL from the experience! The blonde is Stephani Rizzo, owner of Miracle Foundation animal rescue! She helped us find Jackson and also helped me adopt Rodger! The other pretty lady with adopted the sweet white Gizmo on her lap! He is blind, only has one eye and is deaf!

I believe (and many others do too) that ALL dogs deserve to have a second chance at life! I also believe that when we buy from a breeder we are breeding to a much bigger problem (the over population of animals)!

PLEASE adopt this holiday season! If you can afford a roof over your head, can you not afford the love in your heart for a precious dog? Elderly dogs are WONDERFUL to adopt because they are already spayed or neutered and have been house broken!

If you need guidance on finding your next pet reach out to me or Stephani for help!
