The Journey – Written one year ago today

I wrote this poem one year ago today. The healing that has taken place since this was written has been an AMAZING journey! I am feeling incredibly grateful today. I only pray that each of you have the healing that you need to create magic in your life! 

Other things you did not know

That she dances, sings and loves the snow

Bet you never noticed her hair up at night

Or when you would argue, how her mind took flight

Did you even enjoy the healthy food she would make

Wasn’t really your thing, you prefer chocolate cake

What about her smile did you not notice that too?

Or would mentioning it make you feel like a fool

It must’ve been hard ignoring all those little things

Even the time she showed up in red with freshly cut bangs

I often wonder if you noticed when she was gone

Or did it take a year or so to realize what went wrong

It’s not really an issue… your friends didn’t like her anyway

She was far too much for them and you felt you couldn’t go out and play

Was it really worth it,,, going after the money in the end?

When you turned your back on her you lost your best friend

It takes a while to realize the one we fear the most…

Is an exact replica of a past life friendly ghost

Before you check in on her like you do time and time again

Know she doesn’t really have a clue as to where to begin

It’s kind of where we all are

One foot in the future and one foot in the past

Hoping the way forward will be an energetic blast!

Her prayers for you are that you find what you’re looking for

Something to satisfy you even more than you were before

Take a hard look… face yourself in the mirror

Eat more fruits and vegetables and stay away from the beer

We learned a lot of lessons, you and I

Some love lives forever and will never die

Inspirational Life lessons

When you want to give up, keep going♥️

Today, I feel BRICK STRONG, soft in my♥️heart and more focused than ever.
A few things I’ve learned

Be impeccable with your word. It saves people time and much wasted energy.

You will have two to three callings in this lifetime. Do what you are passionate about! What drives you!

Bring closure to personal relationships before starting new relationships . Both in business & your personal lives. To cripple another inside a wall of lies will only lead you back to where you began. Only this time, the door you face will be closed.

Be kind to both man & animals. Animals feel just as deep as humans. We now know there is no need to consume animals or sea life to survive! YOU WILL THRIVE when consuming plant based foods! Adjust accordingly!

Relationships are not business transactions. Relationships are made up of reciprocity. Giving & receiving. Some have a love of money. Others, have a need for physical affection. Some need words of affirmation. You can expect anything to fade away when this balance is not met equally.

Love forgive & respect your parents. You put them through tremendous burdens. Hopefully they still speak to you🙂

Communication is EVERYTHING! People are not mind readers. Communication is the foundation of a relationship.
Learn to listen more & talk less.

Don’t hold grudges, Forgive easily!

DO THE WORK! There are far too many people walking around wounded in this world. By not healing your childhood and past relationship trauma, you place the burdens from the past onto your new partner.

Money can be earned again. A persons heart time and trust often cannot.

When you respect yourself you respect others. You don’t make light of the misfortune of anyone. Nor do you feel indemnified when it comes at the expense of others. No one wins off another’s pain.

Think before you speak. You cannot take back the words you say. Be mindful of this. The guilt will be life long & crippling once that person is gone.

Be with a person who has the capacity to FEEL. God’s plan was not to place you here to fix the wounded. Fix yourself and he will take care of the rest.

There will be one person you will meet in this lifetime who you will KNOW is meant for you! Express yourself. These feelings are most likely from a past life. You are here to heal the pain in this lifetime together. This relationship will feel like a war zone you can’t escape. One day you will wake and realize this person is here to teach you your life’s lessons.

 

Awakening ~ Saturns lessons

If you want to be loved, love yourself

If you want to be free, free yourself

If you want to be told the truth, be truthful to yourself

If you want to be rewarded for the seeds you planted, grow yourself

If you don’t feel you are worthy, place worth into yourself

If you want to be better to those around you, be better yourself

Why are you afraid to be alone?

I’ve shown you how easy it can be

If you cannot be alone with yourself

How will you ever see?

You have been placed here for a reason

A recollection of sorts

A remembrance of your souls mission

Of creativity, love and life

Instead of walking towards the light

You choose to fuss and fight

I could give you all the answers

But then you would not see

See the cosmic lessons

To make you the men and women you are meant to be

You were not abandoned

You were simply left alone

You had to learn like all the rest to release all of your control

Rules no longer rule over you

She now lets things slide

You are guided by your angels

You are free to fly

Those who have felt stuck

Situations of the past

Know this is your mindset

Afraid it will not last

Left out in the cold, a distant memory

Your eyes are now awakened to others sensitivity

You thought your material world was what you were living for

But look how loosing everything made you worth fighting for

You are not a victim, No one stole your soul

Stripped of all that does not matter down to a piece of coal

She never saw him as “the one” when money ruled his life

Smothering to push away, she felt so much strife

Until she felt deep inside a need to release and let go

Then his energy returned and she knew this was no joke

Angels showing up along her path, Her perfect fantasy

But all along he knew where her loyalty would be

Taken by the moments of spontaneity

Unconfused about her destiny

Whatever perfection stood before her

She knew what was meant to be

Your creativity will be sparked

There is always time to leave your mark

So afraid to fail

Your answers not to be found in a mug of ale

Ready to leave your legacy

Your imprint in this world

The only way to find your place

Self examination in your face

It’s time to stop blaming the world for all that you are not

It serves no one and keeps you stuck in a certain spot

Regrets you cannot see may lie ahead

Eventually you will learn where you made your bed

I heard a saying the other day “The truth will set you free”

I think this brings a huge reminder for you to always see

Lies will keep the innocent stuck in solitary confinement

Your goal should always be personal refinement

Balance is the goal here, in what you see as play

Your counterpart has walked away seeking sunnier days

What you have not learned in this life will come back around

A gift from disappointment has been a blessing found

My best friend

Just because I love you today

Doesn’t mean I will love you tomorrow

The way I feel for you will change

Just like the way you loved me changed

I will always love you

I just may not “love” you

This doesn’t mean I still don’t need you

Your voice

Your touch

Your early morning call to see if I’m ok

Don’t be angry with me

Despondent

Harsh with your words

Don’t  shut me out

Go away

Abandon me

If I love you today

I will love you tomorrow

I just may not be in love with you

And this is ok

It’s to be understood

It’s to be embraced

Spoken about

Speaking is how you fix problems

Nipping them in the bud

Please don’t run away

If I say I love you

But don’t want to make love to you

This doesn’t mean I want you to disappear

Going away forever

Leaving me won’t fix the problem

Abandoning what we have…had…once were

This won’t make things better

When your best friend comes to visit

How do you feel when she leaves?

Do you miss her?

Her laugh

Her smile

her hair tickling your shoulder when you embrace

Her morning tonics that make your brain work better

Do you miss the way your body fit perfectly into yours when you would sleep at night

Do you miss the way she would try to hold your hand when you were driving

You always pushed her hand away

But she tried every time

Didn’t she?

So why abandon her

Your best friend

She still loves you

She may not be in love with you

It has nothing to do with you

Your looks

Your bank account

Your status

I think she may have gotten tired of not feeling

Being aloud to feel

Or feeling as though she had to constantly try so hard to make you feel a certain way

She’s still your friend tho

The woman who kisses in public

Rubs your curly hair while you drive

Made you 10,999 omega balanced salads

So don’t purposely try to hurt her

She has scars all over from this battle

From head to toe

She just doesn’t love you the way she used to

Because loving someone requires balance

Giving and receiving

No dear ….no….we aren’t speaking of currency

I know it’s your favorite topic

Try to pay attention here

We are speaking of a balance of love

Giving and receiving of affection

Of time

Of heart felt conversation and connection

Connection far deeper than the ocean

I know you see everything as an investment

I’m sorry you feel that this investment was a waste

I assure you it was not

I learned so much

What I will and will not allow

You learned lessons too

I just don’t love you the same way I used to

Because you stopped investing your love into me

It hurt at first

I’m better now

I just don’t love you that way anymore

You see it’s not the way you speak to a woman

It’s not what you do for her

It’s the way you make her feel

Destruction of identity ~ A poem by Andrea Cox

No one owns the ocean & because its free
it opens up its beauty for all to see

I’ve come to deconstruct my identity soaking shoulder deep
in oceans of humility hoping to land on my feet

breaking shackles that have held me down so long
freeing ankles with my very own love song

from rainy puddles in Ohio to this fearless paradise
Why did I ever debate or even think twice

Time is often wasted but never thrown away
We wake up tomorrow to a brand new day

Love so tender that went down so fast
Everyone but us knew that it would never last

Eyes as blue as this ocean could not mesmerize this soul
Honesty and truth should be the only common goal

My eyes were greener than usual today but you will never see
what the reflection of this ocean looks like inside the soul of me

Standing here to take it in but only shoulder deep
I’ve learned from you to never allow my heart to fully sink

Rising to a place where yesterday flees
forgetting by the second what will never be

Tomorrow is irrelevant or at least thats what “they” say
so to was the inconsistency of our day to day

Somehow I should be crying but Im numb from the pain
yet in this moment of sublimity I remain humbly sane

Is this moment over or is it to replay
There I go again without anything important to to say

For me its gone and buried in the ocean blue
Another minute hour day passes without me seeing you

Nothing lasts forever you mumbled the night we met
I pondered that but didn’t know your mind was clearly set

Soft and kind memories I will take with me
The deepest love is never a love that will ever be

I Dare You……

I dare you, to let love in! To exit your past and where you have been!

I dare you to love out loud! To shout from the rooftops in front of a crowd!

I dare you to live Authentically! Get rid of the programming. Stop acting selfishly.

I dare you to hold me tight. No games or bullshit as though its a God given right!

I dare you, to love like you mean it. Don’t scratch the surface or try to wing it.

I dare you to come ~ as you are! Raw authentic showing me your worst scars!

I dare you to mean ~ what you say. To not play games, be there night and day!

I dare you, to want me after my looks fade away! To still love me, when I’m old and gray!

I dare you to take your next big step! Stop living a lie and watch what you get!

I dare you to walk with me! Not just “you” but us as “we”!

I dare you to let go of the thoughts. The lies you tell yourself, and the cheap verbal shots.

I dare you to love only me. To pick me up when I’m sad and to never leave.

I dare you to pick up the pace! To end this war we play face to face.

I love you. This will always be. Let go of the lies, wake up and see.

Sometimes I like to write poetry. Any of you who have followed my posts for a while know this:) At certain times it just seems to flow, enjoy the one I wrote below♡♡♡

No words…
Could it be that when you let someone love you and stop pushing all of the amazingness away the freedom to live life to its fullest you seek will find you?

It will fall upon your lap, like a leaf falls off a tree. Like a child who jumps from the swing…..
It simply falls with no injury to the heart, body or mind…..not something you seek but something you find.

Your lips pressed in my neck make me gain a different type of respect for the word passionate.

Your constant feed, I was made to know exactly what you need…. In every way and in every moment.

My heart against your chest…. I’ll give you everything, nothing more nothing less…

Fingers through my hair make me want to go there…to the place where all I want is to be loved by you.

So kiss me in the morning, in the afternoon and before bed. No words need to be said.

My safety and my lover you’re there unlike any other to always take care of all my needs. In return you never need to ask…I know my every task is to please you in every way and every day

Look at me but not with someone else’s eyes
Speak to my heart before trying to speak to my thighs

Touch me but not with another’s hands
Be the type of person that makes other women want my man

Feel me in a way you’ve never felt before
Talk to me in that way that I adore

Speak to me, all the way around
Touch me with your words melting my heart to the ground

Take me, deep into your arms
Make me feel I’m far away from harm

Ground me, like no other man can
Turn me into your number one fan!

Sweep me….right off of my feet!
Be the man that no one else can beat!

Love me like tomorrow does not exist
Let me know I’m the one you cannot resist!
